Where I'm From is Where I'm Going

I am from the unknown,
And what  still needs to be discovered,

From the places I do not know,
And places I pine to find.

From people who released me,
To those who are able to raise me right.

From my relatives who looked at me,
And worked,
In an attempt to give me a fairy tale life.

From a single mother,
Wo picked me up from the hospital,

And worked her hardest to provide me with fortune,
And because of her and many others,
I’m able to have what some people always wanted.

From early mornings to late nights,
From First to come and last to go,
From I know a few,
But I still crave to know more.
Doing it to impress everyone I know,
Knowing my relatives love how much I grow.
I have a dream and I’ll make it happen.
and reaching out to get what I put in,
I am from many things one doesn’t know,
And many things one will never experience,

I am from things I can not change but I can change the view,
View from negative to the positive,
By showing the positive, that ignites my fuse.

I see it clearly, very strongly,
This is the place where I belong,
The place my family worked hard to make,
The place that makes me strong.
I hear the quiet lofi playing and the seafood scent very strong.
My family does not really love seafood, but for me, they cope along.
Coming home late, just to leaving early,
Is our never-ending routine.
Makes allow our weekends to be out family outings,
There’s barely any free day to set me free.

You may ask why I can’t describe what it is like to be at home,
To answer your question that is not simple, you may have not been told,
Go open a google doc today and make sure it is blank,
That is where I come from,  and yes, there is nothing on that page,
It’s blank because it’s unknown,
always free to add the newfound.
You can ask me where I come from,
but that’s not the right question to ask.
The thing to ask is where I’m going,
That is where my story ends.
