Filled with Love

By Sariah Adames, 5th Grade

I am from a place that has trees and bees,
Squirrels that jump from tree to tree,
I am from a place that has dirt,
So I am not allowed to wear a skirt.

I am from a place that is filled with love,
Come on everybody let's jump around,
And look at the sky above,

Running and smiling as we play and shout,
Daydreaming on these days,
Praying things will one day go back to being the same.

Dear Sariah,

This poem is delightful!

You made my fly away to this place where you are from!

Thank you for sharing it with us.
