Mom and Dad

I was raised by a strong bond,

Fast shooting star,
“I want that car,”
KIND OF DAD.

I was raised by a window cracked,
Love to run track,
“If anybody hit you, you better hit them back,”
SORT OF MOM.

I was raised by a very neat,
Always stay clean,
"You better eat them beans,”
Type of Dad.

I was raised by a very beautiful,
Unmovable,
“This is unusual,"
Type of Mom.

Matthew, this is fantastic! I could easily imagine your Dad and your Mom..... and 'that kind of car'!

So enjoyed your poetry and hope you will keep writing!
