Isolation

By: Naeem Chase Williams, 8th Grade

Everyone is now so far apart,
Ever since the virus had its start.

I continue have to wait with patience,
For I can't wait to be rid of this isolation.

The nice summer days, carnivals and the beach,
But now all we can do is stay home and watch TV.

It's so frustrating not being able to talk face to face
Since we now have to stay apart with a mask on our face.

On the news the government says they are trying to fix this disaster,
But everyday as I stay home I wait for that to happen.

Now all we can do is wait,
While we stay on our homes,
Forced to isolate.
