Apollo Magazine is an online literary magazine that showcases the voices of student writers at Achievement First Apollo Middle School in the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York.
We launched in April 2020 as an attempt to display some of the best creative writing that our students produced while reflecting and processing the events connected to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have since expanded to include a wide range of creative writing submissions both connected and not connected to COVID-19 experiences. We hope that the platform will grow and thrive as a stage for our students as they step out of this crisis and into a changed world! Mike Kentz Editor michaelkentz@achievementfirst.org |
